Dr. Shin is a board-certified, fellowship-trained adult reconstructive orthopedic surgeon specializing in robotics and minimally invasive surgical techniques for the hip, knee and shoulder. After medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, he completed his residency at UPMC Pinnacle in Harrisburg, PA. He then furthered his training with fellowship at Allegheny Health Network in Pittsburgh, PA where he honed his skills with the most modern techniques in robotic hip and knee replacement technology as well as complex revision arthroplasty.
Dr. Shin is a native to New Jersey and graduated from Rutgers University. He enjoys exercise, playing golf and basketball, is an avid sports fan, and loves music. He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and American Osteopathic Association of Orthopedic Surgeons. Dr. Shin has co-written abstracts and peer-reviewed publications pertaining to adult reconstruction.
